M I honestly think pop punk may have peaked as a genre here in the mid 90s with this record and Jersey's best. Everything that makes poppy punk fun, enjoyable, and relatable is all here in a tight, punchy package. Favorite track: (The Gym Is) Neutral Territory.

Nathan Howard This album is wall to wall with bangers. If you claim to enjoy Melodic Hardcore, then this album should be in your collection, it's absolutely essential. Favorite track: I’m Not Calling You.

Joshua This is the first punk/hardcore/emo/whatever record that blew my mind as a nascent music nerd. A bonafide classic. Favorite track: (The Gym Is) Neutral Territory.

nfgfan18 If it wasn't for this album, I think a lot of bands like New Found Glory and Fall Out Boy wouldn't be here today. Hello Bastards is a short, 12 song, punchy package of pop punk/emo/hardcore heaven. Favorite track: Knives Bats New Tats.

about

While the majority of bands who comprised the sudden burst of early 90s hardcore began disbanding or finding themselves creatively spent, LIFETIME deftly reinvented their sound, style, and substance, made a new home for themselves at Jade Tree, and then proceeded to release one of the most influential punk albums of the decade. All that in just a little over a half-hour? Believe it.
